Early today in Khartoum, Sudan (Africa) an American diplomat named John Granville was working towards restoring peace in the war-torn country when his car was ambushed, The murders shot and killed him along with his driver. John Granville was 33.

U.S. officials are working with Sudanese authorities to determine whether it was a targeted attack or an isolated incident.
