Jamie Leigh Jones is a 22 year old (female) who was allegedly drugged and rapped by Halliburton-KBR contract workers in July of 2005 while working at Camp War Eagle in Iraq.
Jamie stated her testimony before Congress that in her fourth day in Baghdad, Halliburton-KBR firefighters invited her for a drink, "I took two sips from the drink and don't remember anything after that." Jones say. She was held for 24 hours without food or water. She reported the incident to KBR and was examined by an army doctor, Who confirmed she had been repeatedly raped.
The Justice Department has yet to and will not likely file criminal charges against the alleged assailants. Halliburton-KBR has requested a private arbitration as apposed to a public court, Stating, Jones' employment contract requires it.
