The War in Iraq has been going strong for 5 years now...
Most everyone knows the song "God Bless The USA". The lyrics read "...And I proudly STAND UP, Next to you and Defend her still today..." Nobody really thinks about those Men & Women who lost legs and other body parts Fighting so that we can Stand Up and sing "God bless the USA", Those people cannot Stand up or Hold your hand and for some, They can't even sing!...
...As of September 2007 over 27,506 Military Men and Women have been Injured in Iraq. Not to mention Over 3728 have Died on the Battlefield...and Counting.
The Stuff you have read and are going to read is enough to make your Skin Crawl and Oh Yeah, It's all TRUE!
They (Military Men & Women) say this War we are in is not your normal War its a ''Gorilla War". The enemy we fight has no uniform, The only uniform they wear is a Dirty T-shirt or Robes...Sounds familiar right? (Your average Iraqi). Thats what makes this War so Crazy and Confusing you cannot tell a good average hard working person from a killer!
The things these Men & Women had (have) to go through haunts their dreams EVERY day! One young man says that he had a Dream that he described as unexplainable...His Dream: "I was walking in my old apartment for some reason and me and this guy started arguing and I just ran over to him and Bit his Throat Out!" He said he had never had a dream like this until he went to Iraq.
A young soldier with very bad Nightmares and Terrible thoughts and Images in his mind says "The Fighting is just beginning after the war." The amount of Soldiers that come home with Psychopathic Issues is out of this world, A staggering 82%. (Not to mention almost half of the soldiers end up with Marriage Issues while they are over seas and when they return.)
Imagine a young women who will NEVER be able to pick her children up because she was fighting this war and lost her arms...
...Imagine a Father coming home with Prosthetic Legs and hearing his children scream in fear saying "Daddy has Metal Legs"...
...Imagine losing your sight in a matter of seconds because you reached out to a starving young child to give him food not knowing he had a bomb strapped to his chest...
...Imagine coming home with a deformed arm and one leg and the Government says "Be happy you're alive and wear that metal with pride"...
...Imagine never being able to make the pain go away, They say "It Always Hurts."...
...That is all true and happening everyday, so now...
..."Imagine all the people living life in Peace!"
Anything we Imagine we can surely do! So lets take a stand for all we believe in and get our people out of that place...
...There's nothing you can't do that can be done.
