Patriotism?

Anytime we disagree with the United States Government they have something to say about Patriotism. If you don't adhere to their code of conduct then you are considered "Unpatriotic". The Government uses the word to manipulate us. As we all know, Patriotism is last refuge of the scoundrel.

The word patriotism has changed so much over the years. People have almost forgotten what it truly stands for. I think we the people who fight for what is truly right for our countries are the ones who should be considered patriotic, Not the ones who just sit back and know what they say is wrong but still agree and follow through with everything the government says to do. That is not patriotic that is closer to slavery.

I'm not saying to completely rebel against the Government, but if you know that something is wrong then stand up for what you believe in and do something about it!
