Brad Pitt (You know who he is) has founded an organization called "Make It Right". Their goal is to help rebuild the legendary "Lower 9th Ward" of New Orleans - Which was completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
In 2006 they held an architecture competition organized by Global Green with the goal of generating ideas about how to rebuild sustainably. Some guys from New York won and when they finish the project The lower 9th should be one of the "Greenest" areas in America! It will also be safe and sustainable when another hurricane hits.
Please check it out and make a donation! They will have people in homes by the end of the summer. These people have waited 3 years for this lets MAKE IT RIGHT!
